Can anyone please put this in a sentence in pin-yin for me?! I'd like to see if I know how to use it correctly.

Let me try to clarify:

拂逆 as a noun, means "adversity, vicissitudes." The sample sentence above illustrates this sense. Unfortunately the dictionaries I got at hand don't bother to include this extended sense (and I was too lazy to add a note...my bad).

环境和遭遇常有不尽如人意的时候,问题在个人怎样面对拂逆和不顺。

拂逆 as a verb:

为了助长孩子的天性,他甚至到了只要有可能,便不拂逆海婴的心意的地步。可他一共才那么一点生存空间,过去不拂逆母亲,现在又要不拂逆儿子,那能够拂逆的,便只有自己的意愿了。

Hope this helps. If you have difficulty understanding the sample sentences here, I'm sorry to say that you will probably benefit more from other online resources targeting beginners in learning Chinese. This website is geared towards adult native Chinese speakers.
